My Virtual Realm

Posted by Nikki on Jan 11, '09 3:06 AM for everyone

It's been a while since I last posted here. I was busy maintaining my other multiply site while working on a new and tighter schedule this semester.

To be honest, I cannot maintain, 2 friendster accounts, 2 multiply accounts, facebook and my anonymous identity blog anymore. At the same time, I cannot even find time to read and watch movies. So part of my life plan ( more on to this later) would be to read and watch a movie once a week regardless of my schedule.

I was a voracious reader especially when I was in elementary and highschool.I'd read 1-2 books every week. In Grade 4, I completed the Little House on the Prarie series and in Grades 5 and 6, I finished the Nancy Drew series and the Hardy Boys.

In 1st year and 2nd year highschool, I don't know how many Sweet Dreams, Sweet Valley Twins and High I read. Third year, this is where I read all the Sidney Sheldon and Danielle Steel books and I also started to appreciate the  classic books because of our book reports.

After that, I read 1-3 books every year. =p.

During the Christmas vacation, I got the opportunity to read 3 books--if you can call them that.

I read this nung nasa Manila ako pamatay ng oras. One sitting lang--or isang higaan bawat isa.

The other book that I read is that of my brother's- The World's Greatest Secrets.

As of the moment, I am reading 2 books. One is Bob Ong's "Paboritong Libro ni Hudas" (courtesy of Ina --thanks =) ) at yung isa--kasi kelangan ko nang mag-ayos ng finances at buhay ko --which I have already read last year but have to reread to fully implement my plans- Is that of Bo Sanchez's " 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich". This book is very rich with practical financial advices and also humor.

So hopefully, I get to implement my plan of reading of at least 1  (by the way, non technical) book every week.
